I know this topic has been discussed before but I just can't get a grasp of what I'm missing here.
I have the following:
-Ableton Live 8
-MPC 1000 w/ JJOS 4.99
-Alesis I/O 2 Interface
I have the MIDI OUT from the MPC going to the MIDI IN of the interface and MIDI IN from MPC going to MIDI OUT of the interface.
I also have two 1/4" speaker cables going from the MPC STEREO OUT to the interface's MAIN IN (only place to plug these in besides the guitar/mic ports on the face of the device.)
So far I got MIDI to work so when I hit play on the MPC it plays in Ableton, but now I want to record out tracks I made on the MPC (one by one) to Ableton and arrange them separately.
Any advice appreciated..
