Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

yo. i wanna know if it's possible to record from my TT and my cd player without switching the cables each time. Can i put a splitter to both of my ''record in'' in my mpc? so i can plug my tt AND my cd player in my ''record in''

What are you using as a pre-amp for the turntable? Not a basic DJ mixer I guess, or you wouldn't need to ask this question.

What you suggest would probably work ...... I don't think it would cause any damage to anything but using a mixer for this would be better.

do you have the digital ins/out? maybe you could have the CD player hooked into that and then the turntable preamp hooked into your standard record in.
then instead of switching your wires you would just switch the input on your sampling screen.

i think that would work but i'm not %100.

Oh yes........ that is what I used to do with an S3000xl. It works. Thanks for reminding me.
