this all started when i upgraded my setup

bought new monitors, mixer, and the 8 outputs for the 2000XL

when im playin on pads, playin a sequence, playin a song or whatever its playin every 8th sample in mono (only stereo samples DUH lol)

so when a got a sample under a pad and i pressin it..its playin ONE of the EIGHT times mono

i have this for months but since I had some beats for a biiiiig album i stressed out

so went back to the shop i bought the ouputs today and brought my equipment.

and WTF it wasnt playn mono there..i just went crazy
came home made beat, SAME FRKN PROBLEM

WTF indeed - this is the weirdest one I've heard so far.

Tell me more:
Is it mono as in the same signal in both channels? Does it merge the L and R sides of the sound, or play one of the two on both sides?

Or by mono do you mean either L or R channel drops out?

Does it happen for the main outs, seperate outs and headphone outs?

Have you tried removing the output board and/or RAM?

both channels man

doesnt happen on my stereo outs neither the headphone out

havnt removed the output board, but that shouldnt be it, cause its workin or its not workin, and not partitially

that shit happened to me a long time ago!!!! Turned out to be just my stupid soundcards software mixer, everytime I turned my mpc the left channel in the mixer would mute automatically.

I was so frustrated coz I didnt know what it was but found out that it was the freakin software mixer. I run my mpc out put into the soundcards input so I can use the computer and mpc with one set of speaker without using a REAL MIXER!!!!

my mpc was only sampling on the left input. i took it to get repaired and they couldnt find anything. then when i got it back it was all good. weird shiz.
