tape/saturation emulation vst's

I have always usually slapped ferric tds (tape emu vst) on my master bus...Ive seen around where cats are using them on seperate busses and even on every track. Just curious to how other beatmakers are creativley using their tape/saturation plugins....? I love what ferric tds and Reaper's loser saturation do to my drums/samples. I also have used them when i sample mp3's into my mpc1000 or s3000.

I have a cool technique I use a tape vst or actually a couple of them in tandem on the master channel... but it isn't really a tape saturation thing... I figured another use for the ones I have.

I use ferric tds too but only on my snares. On my master i always put psp vintage warmer, it sounds great!

I made the leap last year into the UA satelite and got the Studer 800 (may have mispelled) plug for free. best results by adding to each track and then the master. But even on the master alone is really good.

Try the 800 like you said on the individual tracks.....but try putting the ampex 102 on the master.....man oh man.

there is this delay plugin in logic that you can use as a tape saturation effect, look it up if you have logic.

yup. there sure is... i believe i tried this before too. its the tape delay
