soooo.... this is wassup,
I recently got a secondhand MPC2000 everything works still had no problems except this one. I have been bizzy for about 2 months with the floppy drive only. Two weeks ago i ordered a Iomega 100 MB Zip Drive so I can save bigger projects. Last week the Zip Drive was on my doormat so i tried it that same day. What happend was ofcourse the familair problem I plugged it in and it only says wait... and nothing happens.
So I found out I bought a parallel Zip Drive that probably had blown my SCSI fuse. I really want to get it all working but I don't want to spend more money on bad stuff.
So then I come to my questions:
Is it 100% sure that my SCSI is blown? Or is it there any possibility that it still works so i can just buy a good Zip Drive without replacing the fuse.
And if i have to replace it, witch fuse should I buy?
If there are any other solutions.... please let me know!
Peace from Holland, The Hague
Thanks alot already.....
