Best software sampler to use with MPD18...

Looking to get started with a software sampler and mpd-18 in Logic 9, anyone know a good one to get? Possibly something fairly basic, free or cheap....

Ultrabeat, EXS24 both part of Logic = free.

Native Instrument Battery 3 = not free, but not expensive.

I assumed you meant for drumming duties...

Cheers, will take a look... For general triggering really, got a nice thumb piano I need to get sampled a couple of octaves of wine bottles. All sorts really, but mostly for that feel you only get from the pads. Will be doing any sound alteration within Logic itself.

Im sure there are other free software apps, but I'm not really a software guy. If you Google "Free software sampler for Mac" you'll probably find the latest and greatest...
