The beat is really cool. But it doesnt fit to that sound in general i think.
Plus that Jay Z vocal sounds awefully pitched ...

If you want to use a known vocal try to keep it's pitch correct.
You probably could have kept the HW sample slow and just pushed another instr or sample to make it feel faster.
Since there's a lot of note holding in the chorus of the original song you could have used some of that to get a push instead of pitching Jay up.
The beat feel kinda quick, that would also help the brain digest the rhythm.
Strip the Jigga vocals off and just ask people what they think of the track.
Jay might be what actually making the beat sound quick to me.

The beat is tight!! Vocals are cool, but I'm not a dj so I ain't the best judge of beat matching, sounds close enough to me.

Nobody is talking about beat matching.
We are talking about Jay Z not sounding right.

Ya, the beat does come in all of oa sudden like. And JAY Z's voice was speeded up. Some peope have a problem when songs (vocals) are speeded up..I don't.

Appreciate the feedback and honesty.
Thanks for checkin it out yall

I don't care about the vocal being sped up, I kinda like it, MC's can be real big headed, shrink em down!

Tell me what y'all think

I appreciate the honesty!!

I like your track, but not with Jay-Z on it. You gotta really think about the "feel" of Jay-Z's or anybody's vocals before you remix the track. The vocals maybe hot and the track maybe hot, but that doesn't mean they should go together. Honestly, the track reminds me of some ole 90's hiphop joint. Something 2Pac may have rhymed on back in the days. I'm sure you could find an old 2Pac acapella that would probably go great with that track. Just my opinion. Good work though. Check out my remix to Dec 4th tell me if you like it. I thought the feel of the original sample would go great with Jay's vocal and it came out alright. I dont normally like posting my tracks on soundclick but I did it... just because......Ya know!

Peace
