Latency wouldn't be an issue for us that just want to open sessions we've already programmed in order to tweak or edit libraries, the dongle thing is a cop out..simple!

I don't think latency is an issue anyway. He tried to make it seem like the Ren and the Studio both have their own midi clock. That sounds like BS to me. I could see the Ren possibly having it's own clock, but not the Studio. Something about that just doesn't add up. The Ren isn't stand alone. If it were, there would be no question that it had it's own clock.
