cubase

Hello,

For a few months i've a problem with saving my files on cubase. When I save my project (monotracks).

When i open my project suddenly all my tracks all stereo... why is that?

because when I have all my plugins on a monotrack in a stereotrack there all gone... so i have to start over again..

hope somebody can help me out.

not really sure what you are asking, sorry

but i think you can end up with stereo tracks if you use stereo plugins on mono tracks? or if you bounce/render them anyway

there is also a thing as double mono, which is a stereo track where both channels are exactly the same i think, but maybe irrelevant here

maybe a bug? maybe cubase shows a stereo waveform representation of the audio even though it is still mono?

i know cubase have various ways to save tracks and projects, maybe there is something up with HOW you save things?

I think its a bug or something because it was record in mono and its also a single waveform.

Maybe it has something to do with the masterbus or group channels.

But it's strange because only when I open the project again almost every tracks all stereo and all the plugins are gone.
