good idea if you mix on the mpc.

This ish right, This ish right here is what we need like right now. I would like to pre-mix inside the software before I export to mix in the DAW.

I usually have all my tracks in the same spot anyways so if they could link all the sequences tracks to the same mixer control it'll be nice.

Seq 1, Track 1 and in Seq 2, Track 1 and so on all use the same mixer control instead of having to go into each seq to adjust each track manually.

Yup! You have to do this anyway. Otherwise many of your sounds get exported at too high of a volume! Needs to be more efficient!

Good idea hellfire this is important now we are not using a load of snslogue outs plus external midi and a big mixing board.

I basically want the ableton live way.
I thought they basically took the mpc song mode and made it visually easier and chained it all to a mixer.

That's true. Right now I just select all my sounds in the program and turn them all down before exporting because I don't feel like dealing with the Ren and mixing.

sounds like a good idea. id have to use something like thst to see if it would work for me based on how i build sequences because i tend to jump from sequence to sequnce while building different parts of a song and my tracks end up in all sorts of order by the time im done. innovation starts with an idea and gets tweaked from there, so kudos for starting the discussion.

i don't cubase the logic, could it ableton the reaper in the studio one ? may be it's a sonar with the pro tools, think i'll try some acid that will give me a digtal performer or a reason to sampiltude the fruity loops . :hmmm:

hell i'll vote

Linear all the way! The Ren should be updated to work like a traditional DAW. Any change in the code that will align sequences in a linear fashion would be best IMO.

what THEY REALLY NEED is a Copy Sequence Settings, thats it, it would copy just your sequence settings to another sequence. So you could either copy a sequence, or just choose to copy sequence settings which will carry over all your tracks volumes, fx, etc but without the midi notes and such
