I'm not buying it, I'm selling it. 1300 is what I have into it and I need to sell it to downsize to a 1000. Just seeing if this is a fair price. I see on ebay the same machines selling all day for $1,000 give or take a couple hundred. I paid 280 for the case brand new. I figured $1,300 OBO with the SKB case was a good starting point. I just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

it would be worth it to you if someone bought it... but I never would... the thing is about ebay.... check completed listings... check the seller's feedback to see if the winner actually payed (check for relistings too) I dont know... I mean, is the case worth the 280 you payed for it at retail price? I think at 1100, maybe you might sell it.. since you see them go for 1000-1100 bucks right? so people may cough 1100 instead of going with the cheaper shipping one to their location since the case is part of the listing. I personally never buy stuff because of the case... the gear needs to be packed well anyways and if I wanted a case later on down the road I would then start looking for one that somebody still has and cant sell cause it's for a niche product.

I hate when people try to use ebay as a price guide. Try to break-even or minimise your losses based on what you paid, minus depreciation of course. But in any event, trying to get brand new MPC Renaissance money for a used 5K? I don't know man, but good luck. You might be better off selling the SKB seperately.

Its not like there is a KBB for gear.

When you buy a machine every couple months and only upgrade and add to it i dont see a problem with it and I usually get my asking price. So what if I ask what people think? Why do you have to be such a hater?

"minimise" - I hate it when people cannot spell or at least use spell check.

I Have a 5k already, but if I didn't I will buy for $1300. The pictures you post shows it's work and it looks clean. Ask for your price and if it don't sell. Bring it down $50 bucks at a time.
