Which formats have you converted ?? ???

Which formats have you burned to ?? ???

What problems have you had ?? ???

just gotta make sure u create the sound on the sp first , just record nothing, and then it will dump the sample in the banks etc sequentially.

i use "chicken sys translator", for making akai sample cd,s myself for s3xxx series akai samplers and for making akai hard disk images and for accessing scsi chain hard disks for the akai samplers. it can translate to a lot of other hard and soft samplers, but i only use akai format.

i use "cd extract" to read and extract akai sample cd,s. so that i can use all the wav,s in other samplers/software like my mpc for instance.

other programs that can communicate with samplers over scsi, steinberg wavelab and recycle.

Awave studio 10, loaded on my pc now, converted wav, aiff, snd, pgm, kmp, ksf, pcg, aiff, sf2, sfark, ede, efa, eda, efe. All fine converted into each other for my triton, mpc and asr.

Chicken systems, fine but not as flexible.

Great bump.

So you have both programs (and an ASR10), and you're asking what they can do? Read the quote above??

AUTOMAPPING !!!

that these software can do their jobs more than sufficiently, wasnt my question.

What i do is (auto)map my samples in Logic or Kontakt with the lowest value C0 highest to C9. Import the EXS or Kontakt File to AWAVE or Chickensys and convert them to .efe!!

what i want to do, is drag and drop audio files directly to AWAVE and create automapped layers.

What i tried before is convert single samples as .efe, but the effort to create my presets on the asr is much higher as doing it on my pc and transfer it to zip disk.

hope you get it.
