Need to do a show w a2500 jjosxl.
Tried to load up the general show folder that contains subfolders for each song. In those folders the are samples programs sequences and project files.

For the master folder it asks me whether to delete memory before loading. I say yes and then "do it" but nothing loads.

Than when im trying to load each song folder after the other, some sequences erase previous ones even though i tell it not to erase anything at load time...

Does it have to do with the project files? Do they mess it up? What to do? Its super urgent.

Thanks!!

Super urgent ??? huh

:smoker: slow down young Jedi..

Maybe I have slept that much (on the jjos) but it's first time I read about "master folder"
Secondly, nothing loads maybe coz there is nothing to load except "sub-folders" :hmmm:

Now, what you want to do?

You need all those sequences/ tracks togheter at once to play as a mpc-set or smthin? :smoker:

If so you have to name them specifically like in a PC folder - names cannot be the same (as far as one file type) otherwise it will be all **** up

First, load them 1 by 1 and make specific names for samples, programs and sequences, than you have to save sequences you need into this "right" folder.. and than you should be able to load them in one pass.. folder, after folder.
Than you can save it as a project, just use new folder for this one.

Generally all you need to play are samples, programs and sequences.

Hey thanks! :smoker:

I think i found out what happend. In each song folder on the cf there ate the programs and samples named properly, however it saved an ׎all seq." file instead of the separate sequences which ate named properly. So now when i load one song after the other for the whole show the programs and samples load fine but the all seqs files overwrite the previous one.

Whats the best solution to get the squences saved separatly, or bettet, can i rename the "all seqs" files with the song name so they do not overwrite rach other...?

And regarding the master folder, what i mean is that i have a folder with the name of the show and inside it all the song folders. I wanted to load the entire show at once instead of song by song but it wont do it for some reason.

all seqs files overwrite the previous one

Yeah, the ALL file gets overwritten. Honestly never tried with diff names, but I don't think that will work (intuition tells me). I think there is a "box" for only one .ALL file, but you can try. That's why I told you have to load each folder, and save sequences you need. In save mode you choose "save as sequence" and you save as separate seq, unfortunately only 1 by 1.

And regarding the master folder, what i mean is that i have a folder with the name of the show and inside it all the song folders. I wanted to load the entire show at once instead of song by song but it wont do it for some reason.

Where you read it's working this way? it's not PC
If you will encounter any problem just shoot :smoker:

One more thing is if you got effects sets and you want them.. you would have to load some ALL file with them in the end.. coz this is where they are hold by MP.

If i save the project files withe their names in a separate folder for easy access during the show, and i load just them between songs- a fairly quick load, will they bring with them the sequences or just the mixer/effect settings?

Without any proper file? Never tried that, but it just looks in this one foler, not on whole disk (i don't know if that's what you mean)

Really, to make order, if you already got good names, I would just load first project. Than make totally new MIX folder on disk.
Go to save and choose "save all programs and samples", than again in save mode save sequences I need. Not all file not prj.
Turn off/on load next prj to mix. Repeat the same procedure and save into the same MIX folder. Just "all programs and samples" and sequences.
in 1 hour you will have all things in one folder, than you can load it, make some adjustments to effects and what not, and save as PRJ.
