Problems with MIDI

Recently I had a Multi card reader installed into my 2000xl. Now when I go to track out beats in pro tools, Pro tools doesnt trigger my Mpc to play at all. the sounds read but the sequences wont play
Help Please

I'm confused, if your tracking into protools then protools shouldn't be triggering anything. Tracking means recording the output of your mpc into your computer. Also installing an mcd shouldn't effect midi at all.. If you could clarify what your trying todo ill do my best to help out.
