Hi all, I installed version jjos1 on my mpc just that I have a problem:
some sounds do not seem to play well together, as if they were in conflict ..
for example if I try to play a joke on hit hat with a case, the case seems cut ... the snare drum is cut ... that is broken, as if the sound hits hat cuts the cash ...
why do you think!
What can be the reason?

Read about overlapping in program chapter of Akai manual. You are just killing polyphony by using unappropriate settings (to much polyphonic and stereo sounds).

what are these settings unappropriate?
with free jjos I've never had this problem...

There could be few reasons, I would have to be at your machine to point that out just like that. Free jjos is not the same. How many sounds are you using as it happens? (stereo/mono). Look at your voice monitor. How many voices are there in use?

Should be as low as possible, comparing with number of samples in use. Just don't read me bad, I'm not sayin it should be low. If you handle 32 voices good there will be no problem. 32 is maximum. If you got around max it's most likely to cut your samples.

ok I understand what was the problem ..
the program where I had all the drum sounds, played in mono and not in POLY
I simply set the program POLY and I solved ;)
