Is it possible to sync an MPC 2000 with an MPC 4000?

If they both have MIDI, then yes it is possible.

Midi out from one to the midi in of the other.
In the 4000 you go into the midi screen and either set it up to receive or to transmit.
The one that transmits is the master and the one that will receive is the slave.
Then you have to choose midi clock or MTC. Turn the sync on.
Make sure both machines are on the same midi number.
Not sure what you have to do in the 2000 but it has to be the same because that is how most machines midi up regardless of their make are made.
Then connect the audio cables to whatever unit you want to hear everything in.
