Ground dj mixer outputs? (SOLVED)

Hi! I have a vestax pmc pro 2 mixer and whenever I sample from it, I have to ground the cabels form the outputs of the mixer. I have made sure to ground my turntables and there is no problem with hum from the monitor output, but there is hum from the main outputs.

This isn't normal right?

Edit: The problem goes away if I ground the cables fromt the output but I shouldnt have to do that right?

I use standard rca-cables with 1/4 adapters for the sampler. tried with diffrent rca cables still same problem. Think it's something wrong in the mixer as the left outputs have been glitching.

well at least you narrowed it down - good job on that.

sounds like yer mixer is goofed. could be a loose solder connection on the output.

but wait there's more!

I opend the mixer up and checked the points where the outputs is connected to the pcb. It turns out that the points (copper ring) connecting the outputs ground to the pcb had broken off of the coppertracks. Also, the upper left outputs point had broken of the track which makes the lower one to stop functioning aswell.
This probably happens if you unscrew the screw in the middle of the outputs and/or they move around too much.

So right now i'm searching for a way to connect the points to the tracks.

Just solderd everything and now it works perfectly!!!

If you get ground issues from the main outputs only or the start to glitch:

Check the points where they are connected to the pcb!

If they are broken then just scrape off some of the green from the tracks and solder
the points to the tracks!

Be careful whith the pcb and make sure you are grounded.
