I've moved this to the Ren forum, these guys can advise you. They may need to know which DAW you're working with.

We've discussed this before. Right now you can't sidechain with the Ren alone.

Your choices are as follows.

1) Automate the volume to simulate sidechain in the Ren

2) Use dbAudioware sidechain compressor which allows you to sidechain via 2 plugin a sender and a reciever (the compressor)

http://www.db-audioware.com/sidechain-compressor.html

3) Use Vengeance Multiband Sidechain Compressor, similar to the db audioware side chain compressor.

http://www.vengeance-sound.com/plugins- ... rame0.html

4) Simulate sidechain compression with the LFO tool which has some sidechain compressor presets and basically turns the volume up and down according to the lfo shape you draw.

http://www.xferrecords.com/products/lfo-tool

The first and last options are your cheapest.

Hopefully they will allow it in a future update via better routing or VST3 support.

good luck

Cheers,
