I'm just killing time organizing hard drives. Figured I'd share some totally random drums. Nothing too rare. All 16/44 and the one zip has everything chopped already.

There's actually some non drum stuff in there too.

Enjoy. :)

In 99% of the cases no. But I can live with quality CD rips even though I prefer vinyl like most. (space, time lack of $ have made me reel back on the wax).

I DO NOT SAMPLE MP3's...EVER. (I realize it can work depending tho)

Wabox the fill loops are because I'm so OCD with sampling I will literally sample one hat or 3 quick beats in the space of 2 beats time. Just front ends of records that are too short to loop but are worth jacking singles from. I'm a huge Jamaican music fan and almost everything from 1967 to the 1980's has beats to jack at the Intro. And many Jazz/Soul records have the same thing.

They should all stand up well to some distortion and bitcrushing or whatever. I sampled them all at the levels of the CD/WAV. So there's a little headroom to have them hotter on output from your MPC or computer.

And my pleasure guys. :-D

Ahhhh. I downloaded the pack anyways since like you I need $$ to kop some vinyl, and i'm still at the stage where ill take anything and try to figure out how to make a beat out of it that sounds decent. Since I have only been doing this for a few months now. Much respect for the packs, i'll keep you updated on what I can turn the sounds into(don't expect much from me lol). I love Jamaican music too, have you heard of Lady Apache? I own this.

Sampling MP3's at 320kbps is okay I guess.

I never saw her after that 12" but I have it downstairs in another room.

If you're big on vibes and tings, PM me and we can trade links or playlists. I love it all; Roots, Classic Dub, Modern Dub, Singers, Dancehall, all of it.

Or just post them here and maybe we re-title the thread. Metatron's free drums and reggae celebration. :smoker:

Jah bless Off Topic. I love it here, anything goes :)

Cool. It's been 15 years since 4th Disciple flipped it for Killah Priest, probably safe to hit it again. :-D

And anytime Damien907. I may upload some more soon. I saw 550GB on my sample drive in Properties, so I figured I ought to share more.

For half a second I was like did 60 Second Assassin say that shit in Tai Chi?

But I guess you're reporting on your snack.

You're right at home in off topic posting sentences like that.

Dude, back in '98 the label gave our shop like 50 promos of the instrumentals. I ran through like 30 off them all VOCAL. I was like damn! pressing/labeling error. Oh well I now have 53 copies of Heavy Mental. :hmmm:

After the shop closed I only kept one. A couple years later I ran through it and it was in fact the instrumentals. I was like YES FINALLY.

BTW You NEED to hear it with vocals. Ultra classic LP. Priest is so slept on.
