sound card?

Hello,
Im currently using a mpc1000(jjos1) with abelton live8 with a mbox.i used the ebook"using the mpc1000 with abelton live,which was worth every penny! The problem is when im triggering midi notes via the mpc the sound Quality is poor I'm using the stock sound card in my laptop which probably isn't sufficient Can anybody recommend a decent priced and decent quality soundcard to fix my problem

Just go to the Avid/Digi site and find the "multi client ASIO driver" for your particular MBox. Then you should be able to enable it in Ableton as an ASIO interface. You very likely do not need to buy another interface.

Yeah for years you couldn't, but as M-Powered and eventually PT9 opened up the interface choices they finally provided ASIO drivers.

My former neighbor got his working great in FL Studio, so it should work.
