my setup needs something

i have a 2000xl, mo phatt, midi controller, and records out tha @ss, however the mo phat has no piano sounds and alot of the best sounds in the module are riffs or arpeggiated to death what would be a economical module with piano, guitars and strings to accompany what i already have. thanks a million.

The cheapest would be for you to buy just Protues sound chip and put it in the phatt (it holds two chips). Isn't that only about $200?

a akai s2000 would do the job as long as you don´t want to sample your own stuff. you should get one for 200$ i think.
if you are interested in samling (that goes beyond the possibilitys of your mpc), go for a s3000 or get a emu... emu5000 or emu6400ultra. you can get a emu6400ultra 650-700$ (depends on the options- can go up to 1000$)
also check the esi...
emus have lovely filters - i use mine allso as "wave editor" for my mpc samples
