Record sequence before setting bpm

Hello,

I've had an MPC 1K for a couple of months, so have been familiarising myself with it up to now. I've got to the point now where I have a few questions I hope someone here might be able to help with:

1)
Is it possible to record a sequence live, and set the bpm afterwards? I think I could do this by playing a sequence live, but would lose the ability to modify afterwards.

I want to do this as I find a click track a bit offputting, and hard to record to it, I try to record live with no TC.
...that'll do for now.

Any suggestions of how to achieve this or something to the same effect?

Hi , yes of course.

You can adjust the Bpm AND timing correct afterwards on your midi sequence or Drum sequence....

Haven't you already tried that for yourself?
