OFFICIAL - MPC Software 1.3 Delayed

IDK seems like a bunch of girl scouts run threw here.

You know I am just a normal guy in an industry that provides for everything you do. And I am involved in projects that range from millions to billions . I also am sot after to do these jobs all over north America. You want to know how many deadlines I really make, it is less than 50%. You know how many times I have told a client "it will be done this day" ect.. And it don't happen, this happens everyday everywhere. Now your talking about $1300 I have millions of investors money on the line. Making pissed off people happy is my fortieth. Let me ask you how many deadlines in your life have you met? Or have you not had any.

This is what separates the men from the boys. Who really can handle there bizz. And doing bizz is about demand and quality of your product. Akai has been a leader for many of years. And will continue to, they are an industry leader.

So if you cant get your panties out of a wad in your @$$. Move on quit bitching at a computer its senseless, I am doing it now. WTF

Akai I believe will drop a bomb trust in that. And I personally would rather them take their time and make it rite.

And yea I have done that before also. They say "it will be done wednesday". And I say sure, As I walk away thinking it could be the third wednesday next month. Or this wednesday. IDK or "it will get done when it is done and not a minute sooner". Thats what I usually say now. Cause word play pisses people off good.

But it don't matter it will happen. And it will be great and continue to get better. Don't be cancer to society. Be part of the solution not the problem.

Akai has to find an Ableton live developer. Or make the software open source. As an old computer developer, I d have never sold a buggy solution. Money is not everything and everyone should show some respects. Peace.

I agree totally I am disappointed but i would much have a stable version of 1.3 then to have a buggy version of 1.3 you guys need to chill out. Akai is a beast and the ren is already killing the maschine as is i mean if you have one the maschine is a toy compared to the ren. Take your time akai get it right and lets move on i mean f*u*c*k ya b*i*t*c*h or something get a life quit being nerds lol... its coming slow down...

If u think about it carefully the fellas would have lost two days.

Thursday to deliver said happiness to the woman in your life.

No man could concentrate on finishing 1.3 with valentines day hanging over his head.

Now that thats out the way I am sure they will deliver soon.

Also, can I ask that if you have something to say about the Ren in general, then post it in the appropriate topic - e.g. feature suggestions, bug reports, or if it doesn't fit in any existing topic, start a new topic about it.

Thanks for the heads up. I jumped on the AKAI site today to see if was up there. Got to spend the weekend with the old lady anyways so I don't have time to make any music. Hope we see it next weekend!

Well.... I think the whole deadline BS kinda misses the point IMO. I have maschine, it worked good straight out the gate, I wasn't lining up waiting for a deadline to fix a broken product, it worked great and any added features with an upgrade was just the icing. As far as I understand it, many feel Ren has broken software from the get go, so it's not the same, it's waiting for an update to make a 1300 dollar purchase useable like it should have been from the get go.... It's not the deadline it's the dead product that needs life support..... Anyways, that's what I am getting off the forums... I have my cash ready to buy the Ren, but am waiting to see what everyone says about this update.... I don't have time for buggy software.... that costs 1300..

Wow people must be knocking down your door, you must be the only programmer in the world to not create bugs when designing software... and What does ableton live have todo with it? There shit was buggy as hell before it became golden boy for every bedroom producer across the planet. And if remember correctly they just got done taking a 3-4 year hiatus without saying a word. Shit I remember on ableton live being limited to 22khz due to its "live" limitations, everything has to start somewhere. Ableton wasn't ableton until version 7 really... I don't think many people would have hopped on the train day 1 version 1.0

my only beef with Akai was around if the would take mpc software to where it should be

1.3 demonstrates that they listen and i dont really care how long it takes to get it right as long as the direction is there

definitely have my full support now, dont matter if it takes a month more or not. I will cop a studio in summer and a ren when version 2 Drops..

i do feel for the early adopters lol
