Why are you still selling these EPROMs?

Last time I checked there were 40 sold.

I should think you've got your money back now. So why flood the market and do a great disservice to all those who paid for a genuine license from Rohan. Don't you think you've profited enough from somebody elses probable misfortune?

And are the EPROMs in the MPC60II you sold me recently genuine? Im not sure exactly when you got hold of your EPROM burner, but the timing is suspiciously close. I'll check the machine after I've had an answer from you.

id buy some eproms too if i had a 3k, the cash, or both... and thanks for making someone elses work available to the community...

but. uploading some images to some user groups may be the best route at this time...

It may have originally been about getting his money back, now it is clear that it is just greed that is driving him.

Piracy is all about greed, about being unable to go without something so they resort to stealing it, then they move to stealing it to sell it at a profit, no matter how the people involved try to paint it.

He has no intention of stopping selling them, the greed from all these $ rolling in is much too strong.

The guy is stealing other people's property, and selling it for profit, you really can't believe anything he says.

Good luck with those being genuine, unless they were the source set that he made his pirated copies from.

He bought his EPROM burner on 11th January, and an EPROM eraser on 12th January, was selling ROMs on ebay on 23rd January.

well I think on the other hand... a true collector might be interested in genuine valixi chips, and probably not some repros... though that may only be the case once years have passed since rohan distributed them. I suppose though that if he himself flooded the market with chips it may have the same result unless all seller unanimously refused to sell for less than they originally payed.

At least that is what I can tell by the only other case I really know of this type of thing... video games.. retrousb.com sells reproduction carts of rare NES games (including world championship, and other non-commercial releases) but those dont affect the value of the real deal carts at all... but, again... those originally came out years ago, and the repros are recent... so it may take time before die hard collectors care about real deal chips.

Clint your 60 chips are genuine. Can you not tell by looking at them? The fact I never even made or distributed any 60 roms proves that anyway.

I can upload the vailixi image to the public domain no problem. Have already helped a few guys with the start screen info.

The chips will be stopped very soon. The only thing is I'm not sure it makes much difference anymore as some French guy I sold a set too is now selling them, and of course if compactflashman continues to sell them then it won't make any difference really.

Besides clint, why are still going on about this, didn't tutor say he didn't want a constant stream of threads popping up on the forum...

As for Simon, well you are still sat in the corner rambling on like an old lady with dimentia. Why wouldn't you trust me... I am being honest and upfront. I have almost 700+ feedback on eBay, and this is the Internet, you can only trust anyone so much. Look at Rohan. Sun shined out of his ass until this crusade, and even now some of you guys would still probably welcome him back like nothing ever happened.
