Simon, I don't have any else to say to you now, so for the record, get off your high horse, stop acting like a the biggest **** made guy I have EVER heard, and go grow a pair of **** balls.

Don't worry, when Rohan returns, I am sure he will reward you with os 4.0 free of charge, thanks to all the asslicking you have done.

Like I said sonny, go and take some anger out on those pads , not on the internet ;)

He isn't getting rich by any means... actually, he is probably doing a great service to his local area and to the forum. So it's understandable how he could be mad... since he doesn't want to be involved in selling those 3.5/3.10 reproduction chips... but has been probably paying extra to be able to include them in his sales... I get that..

but some of those 3000s that are double the going rate because of rohan's disappearance is ridiculous.

Yeah I don't have anything against Clint or anyone on the forums.
I was jus shocked at how they blew the spot up on him for helpin out. What have we all learned from this? I don't even know. But I place all blame on Rohan for the outcome of all these recent events..... :|

How about you grow some balls, create something useful that other people would want, to sell and make money from, rather than just stealing other people's property and selling it for profit.

You obviously have no talent or skill, as demonstrated by not being able to change the boot screen text in the ROM image by yourself.

All you can do is steal and copy other people's hard work.

You are such a low life piece of s**t.

In all honesty, why bother judging someone so strongly over the internet... I am not a thief, I am not talentless or skillless. From the word go I admitted not being a big techy guy. You don't know me, you are simply judging me from these chips.

You moan when I sell the chips, you moan when I don't. Your a twisted little individual who needs to go vent his anger. Have you got someone you can speak to?? You sound a bit lonely and angry to me. It's ok, we are here for you, the forum... you can feel safe..

He should of just pm'd me.... :hmmm:

well I suspect most of your sales came from these threads...

Way to go supporting the thing you're ranting against.

mr_debauch wrote:yeah well it comes off like you're mad at not being able to flip your legit chips for 500 bucks as quickly... and not because all of a sudden, you discovered piracy and are pissed that it exists.

I am not flipping anything, not selling anything, it is absolutely nothing to do with anything I have losing value.

I don't sell anything off, that is why I have so much gear.

DIK Supreme wrote:Most cats are buying them to enhance beat making, while some of these guys seem to jus collect mpcs to collect dust

Yes my gear collects dust, but really, why does that bother anyone else?

I work in a studio and live sound venue as a technical officer, looking after this sort of gear all day long, it really doesn't bother me if I don't use it as much as I would like when I get home, why does it bother you?

Does that somehow make my anti-piracy opinion any less valid?

I am wondering why you try to use that to get some sort of anger response from me, or others, do you expect that it will, does it make you feel better about yourself, does it make you feel superior?

mr_debauch wrote:the price gouging opportunists taking advantage of the situation are only going to have issues selling their OG eproms to people who need it to use it...

There really isn't any need, people want it, they don't need it.

The MPC3000 works fine, and became the classic it is, with 3.11.

Just saying, you're sort of letting it bother you a bit aren't you? You still got your eproms.

Piracy of any intellectual property disgusts me, no matter what the format, music, film, software, OS versions, whatever.

It is even worse, and the need for copyright protection more obvious, in situations like this, with a very limited market for a product, and a one man company producing the product, and there is still no respect for the rights of the copyright holder.

It just highlights how full of cr*p the piracy supporters usual argument of giving it to the man, and somehow trying to use the justification that they are helping out the artist/content creator by giving it to the record/movie/software corporations.

This is a one man show, making a product for a very limited market, and people still can't help themselves, and have to resort to piracy for profit, due to greed.

You are a thief, you are are the twisted little individual.

Seriously, if you believe that you are not a thief, you are the one that needs help.

People that have no respect for other people's property, deserve none in return.

It is sad that this lack of respect for other people and their property seems to be more and more reflected across society in general.

It seems that people today are so used to the ease of being able to steal other people's property, that they are so used to doing it, that they no longer see it as the disgusting action it is.

People seem to be unable to go without something if they can't afford it, if they don't want to afford it, or if it is not available at the time, they seem to have no other option in their thought process other than I must have it, I must steal it.

Your actions are those of a low life piece of s**t thief, you can only be judged on your actions, so to me you are nothing more.

I have the same feeling of disgust for you as I would for someone breaking into a house and stealing someones belongings.

It really isn't anger, it is disgust. Try not to read any anger into what I am writing, it is being written with disgust, not anger.

Stealing, distributing, selling these ROMs, displays absolutely no talent or skill.

Creating them is what takes talent and skill, you are simply stealing them and making copies for profit.

yeah you are right, the people who bought from mic b would never have ever been rohan's customers so actually rohan lost 0 dollars from those people....

also, you seem angry that someone with less money than you can still use the same equipment. You are acting like your elite valixi owning status is now of a commoner. Get a grip.

SimonInAustralia wrote:I have the same feeling of disgust for you as I would for someone breaking into a house and stealing someones belongings.

when someone breaks into a house, there is a destruction to the property to enter.. there is the invasion of personal space, and then you got your belongings actually stolen (ie: they didn't clone your tv with a star trek replicator and leave yours there... you actually are out of a tv)

piracy is not theft, or else people found guilty of it would be charged with theft. In fact, I believe mic b bought his originals if im not mistaken? what exactly did he do that you are calling him a thief?

I mean, hey... you dont like piracy, nothing wrong with that.... but you are acting like mic b touched your children inappropriately. Comparing it to breaking into someone's home? get a grip man.. i'd hate to hear your views on j-walking.

Sorry, but that is just such a load of cr*p.

Plenty of people come here looking for Vailixi, plenty of people that are buying these were previously trying to buy them from the website.

Every MPC that these ROMs go into is one less MPC in the already very small market for the ROMs.

mr_debauch wrote:also, you seem angry that someone with less money than you can still use the same equipment. You are acting like your elite valixi owning status is now of a commoner. Get a grip.

Nothing to do with having it or not, seeing someone else's property stolen and sold on ebay for a profit, when you have done nothing at all to create it, disgusts me.

mr_debauch wrote:piracy is not theft, or else people found guilty of it would be charged with theft. In fact, I believe mic b bought his originals if im not mistaken? what exactly did he do that you are calling him a thief?

Of course it is theft, you need to get a grip.

The value in the product is in the code, he doesn't have any right to duplicate and distribute that code, he is stealing the rights of the owner to do that himself, depriving the owner of potential customers/market, and making money by selling the owner's property without his consent.

However you try and spin it, by arguing the semantics of the description of the act as piracy versus theft, it is theft, plain and simple.

Why do you think it is called piracy FFS, pirates steal sh1t from people, they are thieves, different words same base action.

Jay walking is not infringing on someone else's rights, it is not depriving them of income, it is not making money selling something that belongs to someone else.

hey, there was room for it after you tried putting on a parallel with home invasion and robbery... I didn't go there until you did.

and if you want to go into details about captain black beard type pirates... in our laws the actual charge of piracy (not the pop culture nick name for copyright infringement) involves the theft of a canadian ship, with a sub category bullet point that includes the sabotage or theft of a part off that canadian ship... with a sentence of something like 40 years. (I wonder if anyone has been actually charged with that in the past 200 years)

but hey, im not defending mic b... the furthest i've ever gone doing something like that is uploading an ISO for the 2000xl vol.1 disk for people here on the forum... I guess that's me breaking into someone's house and stealing a blue ray player in your books?
