I'm new to the MPC 4000, and I've brought one used loaded with samples and keyboard sounds. I have a Brass section folder that is brass program file(akp) with brass samples(wav.) with different key variations. How can I create my own muliti or program to play different key variations of one drum snare or key board sound? Ive noticed that if I load a sample into a program and go to the samlpe list I can play different key variations but I can not record them or use them while creating a sequence. Some please give me a hand....thanks :hmmm:

The 'Sample List' is not there for sequencing purposes. Investigate how to create keygroup programs, or for instant gratification use 16 levels (pitch) on any sample assigned to a pad. You gotta get into the manual and be aware that what you actually hear depends on what screen you are in and what is set up in the 'monitor' field. You also need to understand the differences between program types and multi's or you dont stand a chance...
