Hi,

I still haven't found out a master or general finetune parameter of the internal synth to adjust it to slices of music. Nearly on every project there is synthprogram-tuning necessary, as I don't want to pitch all samples. My work around is to finetune every oscillator on it's own in every synth program, but that's a very time consuming.

Could it be that it had been forgotten oder is it me?

Cheers

LOL no I search a parameter where I can alter the pitch of synth programs, looks like it had been forgotten in the master section.

On the Master page there's only "Trans" on the top left to tune the synth program in semitones. No fine tuning there, only for each oscillator.

General tuning only in semitones, in a sampler, really :hmmm:

If I'm the first to ask, I wonder if people actually use the (fantastic) synth engine in the 5000?

Anyway, I've got an idea for the next OS

Every time I touch it the sound turns to crap. It could just be me.

I have better luck with analog synths.

I think it's you. I have tons of real analog synths like Moogs, Studo Electronics, Rolands, Oberheims... but end up with the 5000 VA mostly. I thought why in the world I would need it, but it's just faster to integrate (out of the missing master tune lol) and sounds beautiful. And I am very hard to impress.

Ditto. Agree.
I've made really dope bass, leads and pads with the 5000 synth. I found my self reaching for my 5000 bass patches more often than my slim phatty. odd but true.
