I've got a problem with my MPC3000. It no longer will go into record or overdub.
I have it as a slave using midi clock from Logic. It starts and stops ok, and I can also still trigger samples in logic using the MPC pads, but I can't use the MPC sequencer to record patterns as it won't enter record or overdub. It is in (Record Ready) mode.

Has anyone had a similar problem, or have any idea what I might have done to make it start acting like this, or more importantly, any idea how I can get it working again!

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks

This is an obvious one you probably already did, but have you tried holding the record or overdub button on your 3k while pressing play in logic?

Never heard of this issue before, is it the same when the MPC is used standalone?

Doesn't seem to want to work in stand alone at all. I've turned synch In off, and set the tempo source to Master, I've even unplugged all the midi cables, but it doesn't seem to want to play on its own?

When I hit play it says 'MMC play command sent', but won't play. Have I got it in some kind of controller mode where the sequencer is de-activated?

I'm sure I've just done something dumb!

It's a shortcut to toggle MMC on and off.
You must have accidentally pressed STOP with PLAY and engaged it.

Happy to help :-D :-D
