I have been loading up the maschine plug-in onto some Ren tracks, but when I load a maschine kit in the maschine plug in, I get 1 sample playing across the whole keyboard on my mpc pads, instead of all 16 sounds of the maschine kit playing on the mpc pads. I remember in maschine if you loaded an instrument, you would have to activate keyboard mode to play it across the pads, but whenever I loaded a drum kit, all 16 pads play the samples without having to activate any keyboard function. So basically I load a drum kit in maschine through maschine's plug-in in the Ren. When I have a drum kit loaded in maschine plugin, my mpc pads only play whatever's on pad 1 in maschine like it was a key group or assigned to the keyboard, I want al 16 pads to play whatevers on the maschine's 16 pads. I'm thinking there might be some midi setting I have to mess with but I'm not sure as I am not an expert with the maschine and the way maschine is set up is a little weird to me. Anybody that can help me I appreciate it.

I don't think this would ever work like this given Maschine's nature. Maschine's pads don't correspond to keyboard key's like an MPC does, unless you have Maschine in Keyboard mode. Therefore, putting Maschine in keyboard mode is like creating a keygroup in the MPC; the same sound get's pitched across the entire keyboard. I believe the only way to get it to work the way you desire is to map multiple sounds to the same pad in Maschine, set it to keyboard mode, and trigger that way; which would be a terrible workflow!

Right click on the specified group and choose "sound midi batch setup", under mapping mode choose "sounds to midi notes" and choose your root note (which pad you want it to start on) and press apply.

Btw, "C-2" corresponds to bank A pad 1.
