I can't seem to find the answer to this question so i was hoping someone could quickly answer it for me. Is the Timing correct feature specific to the track, or the sequence, or neither? For example, If i want track 1 (hi-hat) to be quantized at 1/16 and track 2 (snare) to be quantized at 1/8, are the two tracks quantized separately? Does this apply to swing as well? Thanks

a year and a half and you haven't tried it out to see for yourself?

the standard mpc protocol is for swing / quantise to be set per track - or really even per section of track if that's what you select.

when you turn on quantise, it is active for when you are recording. you can always change it later (or even during recording) - though no guarantees that going from one setting to another AFTER recording will work as you expect. once TC is committed it is locked in and every further operation will work on those already corrected notes.

I tried it several times, it just seems to be a bit glitchy for me when i change the quantize setting throughout a song. When i check the events, they seem to move back to a lower quantize setting, even if i don't use the "fix" after changing the quantize setting. Using JJOS free...

I've also tried to "Nudge" a note over but the timing is reset in the events even if it was on a separate track with a separate quantization setting.

It helps to post in the correct forum, moved to 1000/2500 JJOS.
