I was selling my ren whilst peed off ....for like 0.2 seconds then the thought of me with a maschine brought me rapidly back to my senses

Yeah Pete seems like a dedicated guy and coder and I would think he is working under a heavier load than maybe a longer running software arm of other corporations. His team is probably small too and some competing teams have more than one guy with lead coder skills.

Plus he gave the info willingly, not that Dan at NAMM didn't but clearly that was a feeling the pressure date quote.

3 updates in 6 months provided that 1.3 gets out early in the week or before 3/01 (01/3 for the Irish and Brits here ) is pretty good by any standard.

I think Akai succeeds long term in spite of sometimes tripping on their own clown shoes.

Thank the good lord. I'll 3rd that. It would be nice if all Maschine posts in this forum are deleted as seen with MPC posts in the NI Forum.

While it is disappointing that Ren users don't have the update now it is better that Akai doesn't rush it...otherwise, guys here will be ranting everyday for the next 3 months or so for a 1.4 update.
