Problem with loading OS

Hello!
Guys, please help me!
I have bought an used MPC 2500. When i turned it on I saw a message " MPC2500 < 16MB installed >". And thats all! Nothing happens, my MPC just staying with this screen.
What should i do to make it work?

the first thing you should try is a factory reset: press and hold the "erase" button while powering up the mpc. hold that button untill the main screen shows up.

and i would also contact the seller and ask about that problem!

I have the same message and nothing more ((

I tried to reinstall the OS. I placed OS bin-file to the root of the card, inserted it in the MPC and turn it on with pressed WINDOW-button. My installation ended with a message "Flash ROM Writing 100%". That's all. Now I have another frozen-screen )). My be I did something wrong?

What do you think, may the reason be in that the card was wrong formatted? After some failure attempts a have formatted the card with PC.
