If I have for example... 3 sequences that make up my beat, and i have 4 tracks setup in these sequences (tr1=kick, tr2=snare, tr3=hats, tr4=sample)

basically, what Im wondering is if I can take 4 separate takes, solo-record each track to .wav inside the MPC 1000, then plug up the MPC via USB and literally just drag-and-drop these sequences, and hopefully they would look like this inside my DAW..

Tr-1=Kicks (2:17.546 seconds long)
Tr-2=Snares (2:17.546 seconds long)
Tr-3=Hats (2:17.546 seconds long)
Tr-4=Sample (2:17.546 seconds long)

Then I can just go and apply effects seperately to each track WITHOUT having to manually line up each recording. Is this possible with this function and will all of the tracks end up the same exact length after the MPC records its own main outputs?

I do not think you can in akai os, but it is long tim since I used it. Time to check out the JJOS!

In JJOSXL there is takes. This makes a sample of the outputs from song mode. So all you do is make 4 takes and you will have 4 separate samples that are all the same length as you wanted above, set by the song/sequence length. It does mean you have to mute other tracks so you only record one track at a time.
