Based upon what you wrote it sounds like the Track Mixer which is maxed by default. Reduce the volume of your track and see if that works.

Do you mean the very first slice marker (Start point of slice 1)?

Louie lou wrote:I don't know if it just me, but the dreaded noise (crackling sound) is back with 1.3. It starts of ok then it works its way in and get so bad that it sounds like an old vintage radio. The only way to get rid of it is to adjust buffers, latency and close the MPC program and re-open it. It will return after prolong play.

Computer - Sony VIAO all in one
OS - Windows 8 64bit
Memory - 6GB
Processor - Intel Core i5 3210M 2.50 GHZ

I think I solve my own problem here. I ran a latency checker and disable a few things like the computer power options (sleep setting stuff) and my mpc got bandz for sure. I hope it keeps on marching.

Hey,

I think i found a BUG.
When i Save my project which is at 88 BPM and load it again afterwards the Sequence says 88BPM but the MPC master track is running at 120 BPM (default)

Image

It occurs when i load my project from the desktop AND from inside 1.3 (load recent project).

Mitch.

I am not seeing this issue on OSX 10.7.5. Is there anyone else that has this issue?

Bug
Load a keygroup program
Now go to keygroup select menu and choose ALL
Choose a program parameter for example change filter type only changes on one keygrp i.e. the ALL selection doesn't work.

Return to keygrp menu select a single keygrp
Then select keygrp ALL
Now it works

I can repeat this bug nine times out of ten.

Geoff

I don't see this issue on OSX 10.7.5

1. Create a Keygroup Program on Track 1
2. Load a 'kik drum.wav' sample
3. Enter Program Edit Mode
4. Change NO. KG from 1 to 5
5. Set KG Select to ALL
6. Insert 'kik drum.wav' in Sample Layer 1
7. Set SEMI Tuning for Sample Layer 1 to 20
8. Insert 'Model 2' filter; set CUTOFF to 100
9. Set KG SELECT to any KG from 1 to 5 and verify settings

Results - All the KGs have 'kik drum.wav' in Sample Layer 1; SEMI Tuning is 20, Model 2 is the Filter, and CUTOFF is 100.

It performs as I expect.

Same issue here. Using Windows 7 on a Packard Bell -laptop. Re-installed the software and the driver, but the issue is still there. Also had crashing problem with copying sequences after the update. Re-installing everything helped with that one.

I actually meant the 2nd slice point. I am on a macbook air and with double clicked on trackpad, i tried it again now and couldn't reproduce. will check some more and see if it happens again.

IMAKEMADBEATS wrote:The response to moving the Q Links to adjust which channels you're routing to in either your Program Mix or your Track Mix is extremely slow/laggy. It's virtually unusable with the Qlinks, and can only effectively be adjusted by selecting outputs via the software or using the cursor to select a channel or pad and using the data wheel to set the output.

MBP 10.6.8 8gb Ram

Hellfire tried this first, he has the same problem.

I see this issue if you turn the Qlinks very quickly. If you turn them slowly or use the data dial, they work as expected.

BOOMBAPXL wrote:When adding a pad insert (in the pad edit screen, far right), it allows us to select routing the sound to the track mix (which would be preferred in most cases) from the new audio route drop down menu.

However as soon as you go to another screen and go back it reverts back to the submix.

Isn't this confusing to let us route to 'track mix' rather than greying it out as clearly it's not possible?

Or simply striking a pad a second time with change it from track mixer to submit. Submix shouldn't be an option when an Insert FX is used. Track Mixer should be greyed out so not to get folks hopes up too high. :P

Confirmed/reported.

InspectahEX wrote:Purge isnt working 4 me, anybody else?

Delete Unused Samples function simply deletes any sample not use in a program.

1. Load a drum kit
2. Delete the actual program
3. Select 'Delete Unused Samples'

Results - All samples (that were previously assigned to that drum kit) should be deleted.

The first one can't be deleted, only moved. I believe this is as designed.

Seems like a Windows issue so far. Any OSX users having this problem?
