I may be wrong about this...

but for some reason I remember being able to select events from multiple tracks at the same time in Track View in versions 1-1.2 with your mouse.
Very similar to any daw...like highlighting a specific area of 4 tracks at the same time to delete them in Pro Tools.

In 1.3 you can only highlight/select events on track at a time with your mouse. I'm not a fan of that.

I guess I could just reinstall 1.2 and see...but does anyone remember if this was possible?

i need to know this too, its essential for me to be able to do this.

i have someone that has told me you can do this in seqence edit but not sure how, im a cubase guy so im just trying to find me feed on this as its a bit different in its ways.

i couldnt go back to the lower version though, 1.3 is a huge leap forward.

Has anyone tried using a modifier key like shift while selecting note events? Does that work? If they've taken that away it would really suck.

Did you click on the 'Select' icon (small rectangular marquee tool) as oppose to the 'Pencil' icon?

Pencil is automatically disabled in track view and track mixer sequence editor...
And I aso confirm that now you cannot copypasta all the tracks in a sequence at once...

I never used this function and never even realized it was possible on 1.2, honestly its not a function I need, I dont think any other mpc this was possible but if they let us edit mutiple tracks at once thats def cool. As of now, anything they add to the software is a plus as long as they can tame the bugs

Well, it was really handy when working linearly or in song mode to build build up your beat or your song!
