Folks,
Haven't used my MPC in about a year, and when i did i only ever used to transfer files/samples via the usb connection, then use them.
Now i'd like to get more into direct recording from the PC or records, but am facing problems.
When ever i record something into the analog inputs, the MPC freezes. Not uniformly either - sometimes after 30sec, sometimes after 10sec, sometimes instantly. Sometimes it allows me to record for a few minutes but freezes when i stop recording.
On the REC screen it says i have over 5 minutes of space to record on so it's not a memory issue.
Anyone ever come across this? Is it a hard drive issue? I'd really appreciate any tips on what it might be or how to fix it.
Running JJOS1 5.55 (behind the times i know - could that be the problem?)
