MPC 2000XL all & aps files in 1.3 update

peace y'all, i was just wondering if anyone has tested loading the all sequences & aps files from the 2000xl since the 1.3 update. i should be getting my ren sometime this week and i remember reading that you had to load each individual program before this last update.

This works lovely for me. I think Tutor said he was having problems though. All my old 2kxl beats load fine.

I was actually going to post about this today, it seems like nobody really brought it up.

This was one of my main reasons for buying the ren, and it has been sitting waiting for 1.3

All of my 2kxl files load nicely! I loaded about 100 so far. This is great news...

I could **** about the fact that we should have been able to do it from the first release like they said, but I'm happy we finally got it.

Disko Dave! How you doing? Just wanna say I think your a dope beatmaker man, love your videos on YouTube. Your a big inspiration. Glad your getting the Ren I think your gonna love it. The new 1.3 update as been great so far and finally I've been able to load up all my old 2000xl beats with no problem at all. It's been good to run them through the vintage modes as well, just gives my old beats a little extra flavour. (especially the new sp1200 ring mode) anyway hope you post up some beatmaking videos with you using the Ren that would be very cool.

Word, thanks y'all! that was a big selling point for me when they first announced the renaissance & studio because i have tons of old beats that are unfinished and could be tweaked so i was kind of bummed that my older projects couldn't be loaded up as easily. i'm excited to finally take my production to the next level (hopefully). thanks Peoplelikeus for shout too. glad you're feelin' the music. mos def will make some ren videos. i even got an iMPC vid lined up lol.

It was brought up several times the day 1.3 was released. I think those comments got drowned in a post with 902 pages though.

I have issues for some reason loading all in studio.
But works fine on the ren. I'll be on my studio today so ill touch back shortly with more detail.

I dont have an MPC2000/XL but this is great news for the gazilllion 2k owners out there who may have been sitting on the fence regarding the Ren. Better late than never.

I'm running the Windows version and it works great. Loaded up all of my legacy 2KXL files.

Is the MPC Studio able to Load MPC 2000XL all & aps files in 1.3 update also? + MPC 3000 files?

I don't know about 3000, but it should be able to load up 2000xl files. It's the same software with the same capabilities minus vintage mode.

@IMAKEMADBEATS.

I was wondering, because with the ren you are able to plug directly into the unit with a usb Zip drive. That seems to not be the case with the studio as it doesnt have that option.

If the studio reads .all and .aps files, does it read via your usb port on your computer?
