MPC 4000 Mixer externally controlled

Hi again to all the forum!

I got a simple question. I want to hook up my 4k with an external controller (for example the BCF2000 of Behringer) and to be able to control all the mixer section of the 4k via the mixer.

I mean the channel levels, the sends and the panning.

I wanna do a dubwise setup for my 4k so that I'll be able to "real-time change" my parameters of the 4k internal mixer like if I'd hooked my 4k to an external analog mixer.

Is there a way to do this? Do I have to do all the MIDI mapping from the beginning if I hook the 4k and the BCF?
And if yes, is it a simple task?

It works, there's videos on YouTube and threads here as previously stated. But you gotta get into sysex strings which is a chore. Thank Smoove and Geoff for following this through and posting.
