The Ren's Mixer for Plugin Tracks send MIDI CC volume control to plugins. The Ren's Mixer channel strips are defaulted to '100' which is the max. So once you press Play Start, the Ren's Mixer will send MIDI CC volume (max) to your plugin causing your plugin audio level to spike. In the case of a VST plugin I have, it will jump from 0 db to the max 6 db.
This is not a bug. This is currently how the Ren's mixer is designed.
The Rens mixer shouldn't send any sort of midi cc to any plugin, under any circumstance, if it's not being told to. Why you think this isn't a bug is beyond me. I can confirm that 1.2 didn't do this, so why on earth would it be happening in 1.3?
That my friend is indeed a bug, or a flawed design, which would cause me to argue that it's a bug. As I should mention it does not happen everytime.
Unusable imo to sequence in standalone, unless your not bothered with this, and can tolerate buggy software, which I cannot..
