i got a mpc 2000 with just the basics, no 8 outs no cd drive no nothing. I was wondering if i could sample of a cd by hooking up a cd player to the 2nd channel of my turntable mixer then coming off that to my mpc. Is that possible?

when you don't know anything about anything, you don't know anything about anything, you know what I mean. there might have been a time where you might not have known how to do this. it's only a quick answer, people need schooling. :)

actually, back when I had no internet....I had to figure out how to midi up an s900, a yamaha sequencer, an Alesis drum machine and a casio Keyboard....It's called using logic and figuring things out......I know this board is to help people, but to completely NOT use your brain is remarkable.....what he was asking was preschool stuff....I just think its funny how people don't even try things out first....
