I was wondering if anybody here sell's samples they dig up from vinyl.I'm producing commerical hip-hop and i'm looking for clean drums (kicks,snares,claps,hi-hats,percussion,percussion loops),and i'm looking for old instrument stabs/riffs from old 70's movies,tv shows, vinyl, soundtracks, ect.I produce mainstream hip-hop like g-unit,50 cent,dr.dre, eminem, usher, timbaland, scott storch, type beats so if you want to reference that type of stuff those are the type of drums/old stabs i'm looking for.Real clean and professionally sampled.Hopefully we can work out a deal.My e-mail is [email protected] if someone could help me out that would be great or if anybody knows any premium companies that dig up drums/stabs,ect from vinyl for hip-hop producers/famous hip-hop producers that information would be greatly appreciated.Or any company that makes custom drum sounds for famous hip-hop producers that would be great. Thanks!

why cant you pull samples yourself?

i mean half the creative process is pulling samples and finding way to flip them upon hearing. not only that, but uts madd fun and re-warding when you come across that dope loop.

what makes you different from this dude,, he wanted to take the easy route too: http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=17977,

"this road is longer but is woth the wait, because the coffee's always sweeter when it per-culates/"

theres some inspiration to go grab a pile of records

Hey,here are my reasons why i cant sample my self.

1.I have no records at all and there are no good record shops in my area here in Canada. It is easier for you cats in the U.S. because there are a lot of dope record shops there.I live in Toronto and there are no good record shops at all. Also i dont want to sample loops.I just want drums and single instrument stabs and riffs.I am not a mainstream producer that is in the industry,i meant to say the style of hip-hop i want to produce is mainstream commercial.

2.I have absolutely no knowledge at all on what records to get nice drums, claps, stabs from.None.All i know is the 70's music. Can somebody help me out on this one please?Where can i get those Dr.Dre,Eminem,50 Cent,Timbaland,G-Unit,Scott Storch,Usher, type drum sounds from? What type of records? Also where can i get those old instrument stabs and riffs from? Those old ones that are mono and they sound really phat and in your face. The ones from the 70's.What type of records can i get those from?I will dig my self if i knew this information.I'm really tight on money right now and i'm in a hurry to make some tracks.Where would i get good records around here in Toronto?I just cant afford to waste money on records that are useless to me.I dont use instrument loops at all. That's why i was hoping somebody could help me out and mabye they would sell me some drum samples and some instrument stabs, riffs from the 70's.I would be willing to pay $1 per sound. You can preview me the sound on AIM and if i like it i will take it.I'm looking for like around 3000 drum hits and instrument stabs/riffs.That would be $3000 U.S. for somebody if they had that many sounds to work with and they were willing to help me out.Anyway i'm hoping somebody could help me out. Please let me know. Thanks!

Denzekiel,i tried all the sample packs and they dont have those 70's stabs/riffs that i'm loking for.Or drums too.

just get online and order some stuff from the 70's. i mean your gonna have to eventually dig for your own stuff and find all the drums and stabs.
listening to records and trying to find sounds is so crucial to making beats and opening your eyes to different melodies and percussion.

Sorry but i dont think i'm gonna find dr,dre,eminem,50 cent,g-unit stylr stuff on here or anywhere on the net.

By gordongecko23 Sun Nov 21, 2004 3:37 am
finding good samples is part of the game. a lot of people take a lot of pride and time in the s**t they find and don't just give it out. where do u think dre and all those cats get their stuff? it is not just through hand outs.
