hey,

can the 4000 find slice points in the middle of a loop?

im recording note by note (32 notes on each recording) from a sh-101 and want to assign each slice to pads, and aregoing to do this for 4 velocity zones.

do i need to go through props recycle for this?

thanks

I'm doing something very similar with my analogue synth at the minute. It's sounds excellent as a poly synth!

Anyway, I'm kinda thinking that Recycle would be the best bet for chopping up a string of single notes (61 in my case). It's a lot of work doing it manually.

It behaves differently in Trim and Region. Threshold chopping in Region would be perfect, but alas it hasn't got it.

Just keep it simple and count out the number of notes you played understanding that regions only go up to 32. But you could record 64 or 61 off your keyboard set regions to 2 to split it and then to 31 and the second half to 30 regions. KISS a little more work but you can sample anything drums, synths, percussion, guitars you name it with
a little elbow grease.
