1.31 is up

Anyone experience and serious bugs so far with 1.3.1? I am lecturing about drum design in like 6 hours and I wondered whether I can easily do so.

Shouldn't I?

What was that exactly?
I thought that referred to the "bug" that loading a sample stopped the song, but it seems loading a sample still stops the song like it always did.

If you are having problems installing using Mountain Lion 10.8.x here's what worked for me.

1) Go to System Prefs/Security & Privacy/General.
2) Under the 'Allow applications downloaded from:' section check 'Anywhere'.
3) Finally unzip and install the update.

After installation I went back and changed it back to 'Mac App store and identified developers' since I'm paranoid.

Here's the reason Apple gives for needing to do this:

'Some apps and tools, such as AppleScript applications and some legacy tools, modify themselves after signing. These types of apps cannot be opened unless the Gatekeeper settings in the Security & Privacy preferences is set to “Anywhere.”'

I have the same issue, volume is shooting At 100%on my plugging as soon as the rec mode or overdub is on... ill be making music and see if 1.3.1 has the same issue.

Did you own the MPC5000?
It does the same thing.
I don't think it's a bug. I think it's a design flaw.

I've had this issue since 1.0. Every time I close mpc software it acts like its closing then gives me a crash pop up. It happens every time on my iMac. And almost every time on my MacBook. Annoying but doesn't do anything.

(Note) I only mean when I close the software. All saves are fine. It just crashes on closing

Unfortunately I can't say as I'm not an owner of this software, but quote was taken from the Akai website.
