error : the function cant be performed on the selected track

I get this error pop up when trying to slice a sample.
I choose generate sequence . yes & seq 1 / track 1

could this also have something to do with the flash rom error thing?

i would try reinstalling OS

I would try posting all your woes in a single thread, right now you have 9 threads on the front page. You dont need a thread for every single question, people wont reply to multiple threads if you bomb the forum like you have.
