Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

hi everybody:
My "F6" Key is broken for second time, the first time i could fix it but now is harder to fix. is the most important key "DO IT"....

somebody know if i can buy that key separately?

is it just the button, or the inside part??

the part that join to the plastic, like a legs of the buttom.

"broken for second time"

That tells me that the problem is the switch underneath. The switch wears out and you have to press harder and harder to get the switch to make contact. Eventually the button assembly snaps. Replacing the button every time does not fix the switch.

so how would you fix the switch when it goes bad? because my F5 button is starting to act up. its not a bad problem YET. but i gotta press a bit harder for it to work. but thats only sometimes. it acts like it fixes itself sometimes.

i just fix the phisical part (plastic) with glue a little piece of wood stick, to press better.

and the button contact do the same in my mpc, sometime work god some times i need press very hard.

just go to an electronic repair shop that is an akai service center then you ask the guy to order the part for you ( you can 't have parts directly ) .
