I wasnt really a fan of the new SP-1200 ring mode but lets use this thread to make future request for vintage modes. My personal fav is the MPC60 mode and that stays on every Ren beat i make.

I would like to see future vintage modes of:

Akai S-950
Ensoniq ASR-10
Ensoniq EPS 16+

How bout you??? let the games begin.TAKE NOTICE AKAI!!

I think the 60 is the best to, has good punchy low end to it.
It would be nice to also get those other vintage modes you stated especially the ASR10 but I think Akai should concentrate first on a way of making them so that you can select what tracks You want vintage mode to apply to and not just on the master
Now that would be dope!!

well if they haven't got it right in your opinion whats the point in doing the others
you might as well make it so you can assign a plugin to it then everybody can tailor it
to the needs which give unlimited options

the best thing about it now is you can resample off it (respect to IMMB )

I asked Dan Gill about a s950 vintage mode at NAMM
He says if you use the MPC 60 mode with the mpc filter you are pretty much working with the sound of the s950.

Check the video at about 2:45

pardon the vid repost. just as reference to the s950 mode

WELP!!!!!!!!!! Since i track my Ren beats with the actual output on the unit,i can use whatever vintage mode on whatever sound i want seperatly and it sounds way better than staying in plug-in mode on the comp.

Yes, but only when exporting a stereo mix. Doesn't apply to exported stems, which is lame.

Thanks! Hopefully they add the stems exporting in future updates. Can't wait to get off work and get to real working

i not against any extra bells and whistles the more the merrier i just thought as these
were emulations you could just have select a vst instead something like decapitator
but if they can only use there own emulations then yeah whatever any extra is a
bonus.
