What kind of bass is this in this song?

sound like it could it be synth or acoustic, i dunno, tho, i'm trying to find something close to it, ever since I sold my fantom its hard to find the bass sounds im looking for.

You could probably get a similar sound using an acoustic or a synth bass and just filter out all but lowest stuff. A synth patch would probably be less work and probably a sine wav based patch is a good starting point.

some moog bass vst with low pass filter... you could probably get something like that.

Eh, doesn't really sound like a sine-based bass sound to me. There sounds like some other higher overtones in there, though mostly filtered out, which a sine wave wouldn't have.

I'd try a pulse wave, something narrower than a normal square wave, with a lowpass filter really low, maybe a little resonant.

Oh yeah Bass station will have plenty of that type of sound, even just closingthe filter a bit on a lot of the patches. Thanks to Sciguy for pointing out my error and giving better advice.
