Insert Automation

Peace everyone. I have a question. How do you go about automating the actual plugin insert? not the fader or sends but the actual plugin. Like for example if i want to set up a hp filter on a sample how to i go about automating it to make certain filter sounds thru out the sample via qlink? Thanks

this is currently not possible.

This has been one of my main feature requests since the beginning. There was talk that it might get slipped into 1.3 (it didn't) but thats a good sign that it will be added to 1.4 (hopefully) *fingers crossed*

for pad ,track and bank seperate is the mostly needed for my tracks
i dont believe because thats not includet.
this must be implated more intuitiv and sequenz based

That would be crazy, this would devalue the ren greatly in my workflow.

Nope, we are talking about Effect Plugins,
the video is just automating a Plugin Instrument.

What about automating the Effects which come with the MPC-R eg the Filter which you insert on one track.

I was able to assign the cutoff to one QLink but the Automation is NOT recorded?!

Not FX per se, but the samplers filter, adsr etc can be. At the bottom of the sequencer click on automation and then the Real Time menu. Those are the paramters which can be automated (ie internal Akai parameters). So far I cant automate a filter set on a whole programme - can only do it on a pad basis Its the basic stuff like filter, release, attack etc which can be automated in real time or via the sequencers pencil.

Im certain all automation will be covered in future updates.

But what purpose has the FX Menu You can even link FX Parameters to the QLinks, but automation is not recorded ?!

They are there for setting up quick control of the parameters but unfortunately you still can't automate them yet

I hope Akai is on that Other case I would have to resample anything
I think I will give the Ren a chance and try it in the following weeks
