Is there a way too?

When using the MPC-R in Logic, is there a way to unlink it so that you can make your beat without having to start Logic all the time?
Also, Logic doesn't have a 2 bar measure when just playing and without recording, if there is no way to unlink the MPC-R plugin from Logic, is there a way to at least create a 2 bar or 1 bar measure before the MPC starts at the beginning of the seq?
How do you guys handle this.

I hope I explained that correctly.

I really see how this could take the place of Logic for me.
If they just get a few things together, this thing would be bananas.

Maybe STANDALONE MODE will work better for you?

When you use it in Plug-In mode this is the way it is supposed to work, so it stays locked to your session.

If you want to decouple them use it in Standalone mode.

Try setting Logic's loop range EXACTLY as large as the MPC one's, meaning: If your MPC's sequence is a 2 bar loop, just pull up a 2 bar loop in Logic et voilà...
