Shift and 7 takes you to the mixer, but I doubt that your problem lies there. It's probably a lead somewhere in your audio chain that is causing the problem - such as the ones coming out of the MPC outs, or perhaps even the speaker cable.

It could be an individual sample that's panned to one side a bit. Check if it occurs with all samples.

are you recording into the computer? when I record into Cool Edit the left channel is always way louder than the right. i usually end up using just the right channel in the end.

instead of wasting time adjusting the file in post why not take a peek at your audio card driver software, your mixer, your cables, etc
suffice to say that should not be happening and is not something to tolerate.

check your pads mayb you have one sett to the left more check all your pads seeif thry do the same assign the sample to a different pad.
